The rural rugged landscape of the area was transformed into Grand Lake and set the platform for the creation of a popular recreational destination. Today, Grand Lake, a haven for migrating waterfowl and wildlife and is ranked among the top lakes for bass fishing in the region, boast championship golf courses with spectacular views of the lake.
