Danta Robinson is a well-rounded seasoned Real Estate professional with a broad-based 35-year proven track record in commercial and residential development and construction, land planning and acquisitions, capital funding and structuring, budgeting, sales, administration, and management, and related expertise. Danta has significant experience in real estate transactions and contract negotiations that meet the goals and objectives of her clients specifically having worked on the negotiations of construction and architectural contracts both commercial and residential, lease agreements, development relationships, and agreements, and navigating municipal requirements and processes for zoning, title, and related issues.
Danta developed the beginnings of her love for all things land during her engineering studies at Kansas University and Oil and Gas Field Management studies at Oklahoma State University and OSU Tech. During this time, she worked as an Associate Pipeline Engineer on pipeline and refinery construction projects on the open plains and towns of Oklahoma to the southern Texas coast for Mid Continent Pipeline Co. and Sun Oil Refinery.
From those beginnings, she settled in Texas, raised a family, and gained exposure and experience in the financial side of real estate while auditing expenses and Real Estate tax applications and activities for the First American Real Estate Tax Services accounting division in Dallas, Texas. That exposure to the finances and profit models of developments led Danta to transition into large-scale master-planned community sales and development for US Home and Lennar Corporation, the second largest publicly traded and most profitable volume home builders in the nation at that time. She spent 9 years honing construction management skills and managing hundreds of transactions through the sales, financing, contract negotiations, construction, closings, marketing, and community management processes of four different master-planned, golfing, and senior housing mega communities of 800-3500 homes in the Northern (golden) corridor of the Dallas, Texas suburban metroplex.
From there she accepted an opportunity to transition into commercial real estate as Vice President, Real Estate Division, at Prince &Associates, Inc. A mid-sized commercial real estate, restaurant, and cell site tower conglomerate corporation. Her office under her direction was responsible for operations site selection, lease, and contract negotiations as well as land acquisitions based on specific corporate criteria to accommodate the growth and operations of all Prince and Associates Companies. Her division was also responsible for the management of all construction activities across all companies including P&A restaurants, P&A Papa John’s restaurants in the Houston, Texas area, and Prince Bistro Restaurants in the Dallas/Ft. Worth, Texas metroplex and land acquisition and construction for hotel development activities for Crown Project Management, a division under the P&A umbrella.
Danta is the owner and CEO of ProgenyPartners, LLC. a consultancy-based firm that offers her broad expertise to her clients for business structuring, project and construction management, contract negotiations, paralegal services, capital funding for small businesses and startups in addition to Real Estate services.
Since 2015, Danta has provided professional real estate brokerage services as a licensed Oklahoma Realtor for residential and commercial buyers and sellers, public/private partnership transactions, and is proud to now serving her clients as a Realtor Associate under McGraw Realtors Edmond office.
