Bill is a Tulsa native and graduate of Kellyville High School. He attended Northeastern Oklahoma A&M where he majored in Animal Husbandry. Bill has worked most of his life as a self-employed business owner. His background includes life insurance sales, management for Micom Cable Company, Secretary/Treasurer for the Miami News Record, and owner/operator of a Spunut Shop.
Bill was raised on ranch and considers himself a rodeo cowboy at heart. He is an active member of the First United Methodist Church in Broken Arrow where he sings with the choir and serves as a Gideon Member. He is also a Chaplain for the American Legion Post 110 in Broken Arrow. In his free time, he loves a good round of golf and helping his wife of 68 years, Gerry, with her Body by Gerry exercise class. Gerry has hosted the free class for over 25 years and averages 60 participants per week.
