The real estate industry has been deemed by the State of Oklahoma as an essential service for the citizens in our state. That means we are still able to make real estate simple, even in the midst of this complex and ever-changing moment in history. Whether you or buying or selling your home, we can guide you through the process from start to finish while adhering to the state and Centers for Disease Control guidelines during the process.

This is the process you can expect as a buyer or a seller from McGraw REALTORS during the COVID-19 crisis. 

What Buyers Can Expect from McGraw REALTORS

  1. Virtual Consultations to talk through what you’re looking for and develop a plan to make it happen.

  2. Home Favorites. Be instantly notified of anything new that hits the market that fits your criteria.

  3. Virtual Tours can be conducted of any homes you’d like to see.

  4. Electronically Sign all documents using our digital signature tools.

  5. Earnest Money Delivery has social distancing options available

  6. Inspections are already applying social distancing measures.

  7. Closing. Only necessary parties are physically present for closings.

What Sellers Can Expect from McGraw REALTORS

Below are a few things we would like to ask of each of our clients during this time.


What We Need from Our Buyers

  1. Buyers must send proof of funds or pre-approval before any showings are scheduled.

  2. Buyer’s agent to wear gloves and carry disinfectant wipes with them for showings.

  3. Buyer to limit the number of people with them to view home.

  4. Buyer is not to touch anything in the house. The agent should be wearing gloves and
    can open doors, cabinets, light switches, etc..

  5. Keep a distance of 6’ or more between people

  6. Buyer’s agent can do virtual showings for the buyer. Agents can send all contract
    documents to be signed electronically.

  7. If the buyer is only “browsing”, they should just look at properties online. At this time,
    only ready and willing buyers should be looking at homes in person.

What We Need from Our Sellers

  1. Please have lights on and interior doors open.

  2. Listing agent to ensure the buyer is pre-approved or has proof of funds

  3. Listing agent to verify with the buyer's agent that they are following all precautions
    necessary to comply with all recommendations to prevent the spreading of COVID-19.

  4. Expect that no open houses will take place until further notice.

  5. If the seller or anyone the seller has been in contact with is sick, please contact the
    listing agent to discuss if precautionary steps are needed to withdraw listing temporarily.
